Yeshivat Hakotel in the Old City of Jerusalem boasts a high level of
learning and personal attention in a warm atmosphere. The underlying goal
of the Yeshiva is to provide its students with a fundamental and intimate
connection to Torat Yisrael as it impacts on Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael.
The yeshiva is proud of the special personal connection their students
create with their Rabbanim, and while the majority of the Yeshiva’s
efforts are focused on education, it also places a strong emphasis on
personal interactions and on creating an inviting atmosphere in order to
instil a positive approach to life in the students.

Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi is based in the neighbourhood of Katamon in
Jerusalem. The Yeshiva is dedicated to instilling in its students a
commitment to Avodat Hashem and a love for Torah learning, coupled with a
programme designed to enable its students to serve as Torah committed
leaders on campus and beyond. Eretz Hatzvi embraces a centrist Orthodox
philosophy which places a positive value on a quality education. The
faculty is always prepared to discuss issues pertaining to the integration
of Torah, secular knowledge, and modern cultural orientations.

n
Yeshivat Hesder Petach Tikvah is located in the centre of Israel, in a
quiet neighbourhood, just 20 minutes from Tel Aviv and 50 minutes from
Jerusalem. It is an authentic Israeli Yeshiva, which bases its Modern
Orthodox educational philosophy on the study of all aspects of the Torah,
on the importance of interaction with members of communities in Israel,
and on the emphasis of critical and relevant issues of faith in modern
times. The Yeshiva has classes in the areas of Tanach, Emunah, Agaddah,
Chassidut, Halacha and Midrash in order to increase the range of Torah to
its entirety.

Midreshet Harova located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter in
Jerusalem’s Old City, offers an ideal setting for mature and motivated
young women from Israel and around the world to achieve spiritual and
intellectual growth in a Religious Zionist setting. It offers a blend of
intimate settings and programmes combined with the resources of a large
educational institution. At Midreshet Harova, each student is encouraged
to maximise her personal growth according to her individual needs and
interests. To this end, the educational programme at the Midrasha
emphasises independence in learning through Chavruta study, while at the
same time offering an extraordinary array of courses designed to allow
each student the opportunity to delve into areas of personal interest.
n
The Rosh Midrasha is Rabbi David Milston
n
Midreshet Ye’ud has a Modern Orthodox Beit Midrash programme,
combining Jewish studies with Sherut Leumi (volunteer national service).
The Midrasha believes in leadership through chesed, in learning Torah
while reaching out to our people in times of need. Since its
establishment, the programme has been inspiring its students to contribute
to Jewish life in Israel through Torah study, spiritual growth and chesed
projects. Students acquire the skills needed to further advance their
Torah studies on their own. Midreshet Ye’ud combines classical Jewish
studies with contemporary Israeli issues. The volunteer work with
Jerusalem’s children, with the elderly, or with terror victim families, is
coordinated through the welfare offices of Jerusalem’s City Council.

The Rosh Midrasha is Rabbi Hillel Van-Leeuwen

You’ll find that
Torani, whilst placing a strong emphasis on dedicated learning, offers you
so much more than that. You’ll be enlightened with a series of tiyullim
and seminars, and learn about Jewish history, the Holocaust, Israeli
politics, and leadership. Plus, you’ll live like an Israeli with some time
on Kibbutz and in the Israeli Army.
These added components
complement the learning process and help put our religious values and
lifestyle into practice.
The combination of
intense Torah learning and volunteering in Israel ensures a real sense of
commitment to the Torah, the Land, and the People of Israel.
